Rare Antique Chinoiserie Japanese Hand Painted Geisha Lacquer Wall Letter Holder

This is a Rare and unusual shaped Antique Japanese Chinoiserie Wall mounted Letter Holder. Lovely Geisha Design that I believe is hand painted. Unique shape with almost foot like base. In good condition other than the small area shown where there is material missing. It is a bit loose where rivets? All said, considering this appears to have some age to it, it is in remarkably good condition. Size is 9" high x 5.5" across footed bottom.
