This is a mixed media and serigraph print titled "Lady of the Floating Blossoms" with blue obi. Stunning details and color in her Kimono and obi. In the lower left corner is the artists signature and seal. On the right corner is the numbered edition (102/2800).

The print measures 26 by 17 (66 x 43 cm). The framing and mating is a work of art in itself with fine rounded corner details on double mats all acid free. The frame measures 32 by 24 (81 x 61 cm). Protected within its museum quality mat and frame, this print remains in pristine condition.

As apprentice to famed Japanese kimono designer, Taeko Jo, Hisashi Otsuka (1947 -)worked for three years cleaning brushes and cooking for Jo's staff under the Bushido code of training, which delays the learning of art techniques until the student fully embraces service, duty, and discipline. After another five years of study, artist Otsuka's works focused on historical themes. The popularity of Hisashi Otsuka's prints and paintings is a testament to his vision of pairing Eastern themes and techniques with the Western exploration of vibrant colors and sensibilities.
